Messing with Terragen 2 again, what an incredible piece of software. I got some weird spiky rocks though somehow, and hopefully I photoshopped all of them out, but if I missed some, let me know.

Original size was 4500x3000, so might upload a print if everybody likes this.

That is amazing... What is terragen 2 like... How long did it take to render?

hmm, if I remember correctly it took like 45 hours or something. Bear in mind though, that my PC is only a dual core 1.6ghz, with only 2 gb of ram. Still saving for a better one

Terragen 2 takes ALOT of getting used to, especially coming from the original TG .9x. Its way more powerful though, and rendering is surprisingly much faster. There's a few tuts out there that really helped out, but the biggest hurdle for me was understanding alot of the new terminology in the program.

That sounds about right. I wish I had time to get into terragen 2, have you tried making any planetary bodies with it yet?

not yet. To be honest, I have neither the time nor the drive to figure that program out from top to bottom. I just screw around till I find something that I like that looks cool.
